OST2019, Currer Laithe, Yorkshire, UK
Over two days of alternating brilliant sunshine and lashing rain in a big Yorkshire farmhouse, we explored together what being an 'intergenerational' group was about, how we saw the world from different places and what brought us together. The spirit of Currer Laithe, with two women farmer-owners working hard to nurture and protect their land, was a huge inspiration to us all.
We had new participants joining us, and returning participants re-connecting with us. Our first Gathering location which allowed us to all live together as a temporary community under one roof brought an extra warmth to our taking care of each other through eating and clearing up together.
